Nationwide Offers Members a Mechanism for PayPal eCommerce Integration

Mobile Payment eCommerce has quickly become an integral avenue of sales for independent retailers over the past 18 months and has been a major focal point for Nationwide Marketing Group. On top of its already established eXchange eCommerce platform , Nationwide has just announced a partnership with PayPal. Nationwide members with websites through Site on Time or Retailer Web Services will be eligible to add PayPal as a payment option on their websites.

PayPal’s platform accounts for a whopping 22 percent of online transactions and features a network of over 400 million users. According to research conducted by Transaction, an eCommerce analytics agency, PayPal-based sales have a 70 percent higher conversion rate than non-PayPal transactions. Nationwide members interested in utilizing this new partnership with PayPal can sign up through the program. Retailers with existing PayPal accounts can take advantage of the group-exclusive volume rebates by converting their accounts to the Nationwide program.

In other news, the metaverse has been an area of significant interest at the SXSW conference. Zuckerberg said: “The defining characteristic of the metaverse is that you really feel present with people, who are in another place.” The pair also discussed the use case of retail in the metaverse and the utility of brands setting up a unique marketing presence.

Having kicked off last Friday, SXSW , the massive film, tech, and music conference featuring innovators and business leaders from around the digital world, is in full swing down in Austin, TX. Be sure to stay up to date with our website for the latest coverage from the event.
