Saudi govt signs partnership with Amazon to foster eCommerce
Saudi Arabia’s Ministry of Investment (MISA) has signed a MoU with Amazon to help create growth opportunities for small and medium enterprises. Amazon will form a joint committee with the Saudi ministry which will meet twice per month. It will discuss reforms in areas such as skills development, technology and infrastructure, supporting knowledge and trust in online shopping and e-payments, and working with public sector bodies on schemes to foster investments in digital services and e-commerce.
