Saks OFF 5TH Launches Resale Ecommerce Section in Partnership With Rent the Runway

Saks OFF 5 TH and Rent the Runway have teamed up to provide Saks OFF 5 TH customers with access to pre-owned designer fashion. A curated collection of pre-owned merchandise from Rent the Runway, spanning hundreds of styles from more than 60 designer brands, is now available in a dedicated section of SaksOFF5TH.com at prices up to 85% off MSRP.

All items being offered have been deemed “excellent condition” by Rent the Runway and will be identified on SaksOFF5TH.com by a Rent the Runway-specific badge. Rent the Runway’s garment science team uses data to optimize cleaning programs and methods to increase garment longevity.

The partnership builds on the findings from a recent survey of Saks OFF 5 TH customers, which discovered than more than 70% of respondents had previously purchased pre-owned clothing, shoes or accessories. Additionally, 80% of those customers said they’d be interested in buying pre-owned items directly from Saks OFF 5 TH .

Working with Saks OFF 5 TH will help Rent the Runway expand the resale platform it launched in mid-2021.
