Walmart opens new ecommerce fulfillment center in Shippensburg
SHIPPENSBURG, Pa. —
Walmart has opened an eCommerce fulfillment center in Cumberland County that’s expected to employ 600 people.
The nearly two million square foot warehouse is on United Drive in Shippensburg.
The facility will store millions of items that are picked, packed and shipped to online customers in the northeast part of the U.S.
Walmart operates four fulfillment centers, six distribution centers and 160 retail stores in Pennsylvania and has 58,000 employees in the state. Recommended
