Meet Daron Mueller, An eCommerce Customer Support Specialist at ABA
Daron Mueller ABA is excited to introduce Daron Mueller, one of our eCommerce Customer Support Specialists, who joined us in June 2021.
As an eCommerce Customer Support Specialist, Daron is responsible for supporting users of ABA’s IndieCommerce platform. Before joining the team at ABA, Daron worked closely with Kwame Spearman, co-owner and CEO of Tattered Cover in Denver, Colorado, where he helped re-envision the way the store worked with local authors to develop diversity, inclusion, and accessibility in its local author program.
“I feel so fortunate to have had the chance to fall in love with books and to learn the ins and outs of publishing as part of the buying team at the Tattered Cover Book Store,” Daron said. “Since moving to the Santa Fe area last year, I look forward to discovering this unique and creative community and its vibrant bookstores.”
As a reader, Daron’s tastes are varied. “Lately however, I am drawn to books on current events, especially writing that confronts the inequity of our present moment.”
And as a bookseller, Daron always appreciated ABA’s work to promote indie bookstores. “Reading, the imagination, and the world of books are alive,” Daron said. “Bookstores are an inextricable part of that.”
“I get so much out of working with independent and creative people to solve problems and learn together,” Daron said. “The IndieCommerce team is a tight knit and incredibly kind group that will bend over backwards to help members — and also newcomers like me — learn the ropes of IndieCommerce. I feel so fortunate to have the opportunity to work alongside this team.”
